Install Linux on your iPod Nano
Bookmark on del.icio.us or FurlFor those of you lucky enough to have an iPod nano, ThePlaceforitAll has posted instructions on how to install iPod Linux on your iPod nano. I’m sure your first question would be Why would I want to do this? I think there are two main reasons:
- Play Doom on your Nano - There is a version of Doom for iPods, but to play it you need Linux installed on your iPod. Now with iPod Linux on your Nano you can enjoy the worlds smallest version of Doom.
- Play full color videos and movies on your iPod nano
There are other reasons for running Linux on your iPod nano, but the two listed above are probably the most popular along with the fact that it’s just cool to run Linux on your iPod nano!
